Sec. 2. The board shall, after receiving recommendations from the committee, do the following: (1) Determine the education that satisfies the requirements in section 1 of this chapter. (2) Establish formal education requirements in addition to those required in section 1 of this chapter. The requirements must include course material on: (A) emergency life support procedures; (B) identification of high risk births for mothers; (C) identification of potential complications during labor; and (D) other material the board specifies.
