Sec. 1. (a) Subject to IC 25-1-2-6 (e), a certificate of registration expires biennially on the date established by the licensing agency under IC 25-1-6-4 . (b) An individual may renew a certificate of registration by paying a renewal fee on or before the expiration date established by the licensing agency. (c) If an individual fails to pay a renewal fee on or before the expiration date of a certificate of registration, the certificate of registration becomes invalid without any action of the board. (d) A certificate of registration may be reinstated by the board not later than three (3) years after its expiration if the applicant for reinstatement meets the requirements for reinstatement under IC 25-1-8-6 (c). (e) If a certificate of registration has been expired for more than three (3) years, the certificate of registration may be reinstated by the board if the holder meets the requirements for reinstatement under IC 25-1-8-6 (d).
