Prohibited activities; penalty

Sec. 1. (a) A person may not use the title "registered interior designer" or any title designation sign, card, or device indicating that the person is a registered interior designer unless the person is registered with the agency under this article.       (b) A person may not: (1) present as the person's own registration under this article the registration of another person; (2) make any false statement or representation or make a material omission of fact of any kind in obtaining a registration; (3) impersonate any other registered interior designer; or (4) use an expired, suspended, or revoked registration.       (c) A person who recklessly, knowingly, or intentionally violates this section commits a Class B misdemeanor.
