Sec. 6. "Geology" means a science that has the following characteristics: (1) Treats the earth as a whole. (2) Includes the: (A) investigation; (B) analysis; (C) classification; and (D) location; of the rocks and other materials that compose the earth's crust, as they relate to geologic processes. (3) Involves the study of: (A) minerals, gases, and liquids composing and contained within the earth's crust; and (B) geologic materials and processes.
