Inactive license continuing education exemption; reactivation requirements; practice under inactive license; sanction

Sec. 7. (a) A funeral director who holds an inactive funeral director license under IC 25-15-4-6 is exempt from continuing education requirements of section 5 of this chapter.       (b) An individual may reactivate an inactive funeral director's license by completing all hours of continuing education required of licensed funeral directors for each year that the license has been classified as inactive. If an individual's license has been inactive for four (4) or more years, the board shall require the individual to pass an examination under IC 25-15-4 before reinstating the individual's license to active status.       (c) An individual who resumes the practice of funeral service or the provision of funeral services to the public under an inactive funeral director license (as described in IC 25-15-4-6 ) violates this article and the board shall revoke the individual's inactive license.   IC 25-15-7 Chapter 7.
