Sec. 3. (a) A dietitian registered by the commission on dietetic registration may use the title "registered dietitian" and the designation "RD" but may not profess to be a licensed dietitian when practicing dietetics in Indiana without holding a certificate issued under this article before July 1, 2019, or a license issued under this article after June 30, 2019. (b) Nothing in this article may be construed to prohibit or limit any person from: (1) disseminating free information; (2) conducting a class or seminar; or (3) giving a speech related to nutrition. (c) Nothing in this article may be construed to require direct third-party reimbursement to a person who holds a certificate issued under this article before June 30, 2019, or a license issued under this article after July 1, 2019.
