Indiana Code § 25-14.5-4-3

Refusal to issue license

Sec. 3. The board may refuse to issue a license to an applicant for licensure under section 2 of this chapter if: (1) the applicant has been disciplined by an administrative agency in another state or jurisdiction, and the board determines that the violation for which the applicant was disciplined has a direct bearing on the applicant's ability to practice competently in Indiana; or (2) the applicant has been convicted of: (A) an act that would constitute a ground for disciplinary sanction under IC 25-1-9 ; or (B) a crime that has a direct bearing on the applicant's ability to practice competently.
