Dental faculty license; requirements; use of license; fee

Sec. 5.5. (a) The board may issue a dental faculty license. An applicant for a license under this section must meet the following requirements: (1) Be a graduate of an American Dental Association recognized dental program, as determined by the board. (2) Be employed by a recognized dental school.       (b) An individual granted a dental faculty license under this section: (1) may use the license only to practice at the school where the individual is employed and as a part of the individual's research or teaching responsibilities; and (2) may not use the license to obtain: (A) a license under section 3 of this chapter; or (B) reciprocity or endorsement under this article.       (c) The board shall set the license fee under section 13 of this chapter.
