Sec. 5.5. (a) The board may issue a temporary permit to a graduate of a chiropractic school to manually manipulate, manually adjust, or manually mobilize the spinal column or vertebral column of an individual if the graduate applying for the permit is: (1) qualified to become a licensed chiropractor by examination; and (2) employed by and under the direct supervision of a chiropractor licensed under this chapter. (b) A temporary permit issued under this section expires on the day after the board releases the results of the next examination given by the board. (c) The board may not issue a temporary permit under this section to an individual who has failed an examination under this chapter.
