Removal; vacancies

Sec. 4. (a) Notwithstanding any other law, a member who is appointed to a board under this chapter serves at the will and pleasure of the governor.       (b) Notwithstanding any other law, a member who is appointed to a board under this chapter may be removed by the governor without cause.       (c) Notwithstanding any other law, a member who is appointed to a board under this chapter must be removed if: (1) the member's license is suspended or revoked under this title; (2) the member has violated a rule or law under IC 4-2-6-4 (a)(2) as determined by the state ethics commission created by IC 4-2-6-2 ; or (3) the member has been convicted of a crime (as defined under IC 33-23-1-4 ).       (d) Notwithstanding any other law, a vacancy in the membership of a board under this chapter shall be filled by the governor for the unexpired term in the same manner as the original appointment.
