Sec. 2. (a) As used in this chapter, "accredited college or university" refers to a college or university that is accredited by one (1) of the following regional accrediting agencies: (1) Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. (2) New England Association of Colleges and Schools. (3) North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. (4) Northwest Association of Colleges and Schools. (5) Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. (6) Western Association of Colleges and Schools. (b) A college or university located outside the United States is considered an accredited college or university if the college or university is accredited within the jurisdiction of the college or university by an accrediting agency having accreditation standards that are at least equal to the accreditation standards of the accrediting agencies listed in subsection (a).
