Indiana Code § 23-2.5-1-10

Sec. 10. "Encrypted", with respect to personal information, means that the personal information: (1) has been transformed through the use of an algorithmic process into a form in which there is a low probability of assigning meaning without use of a confidential process or key; or (2) is secured by another method that renders the personal information unreadable or unusable.
