Sec. 23. (a) "Nonprofit college or university", for purposes of this title (except IC 21-17-1-14 , IC 21-17-1-17 , and IC 21-17-6 ) means a nonprofit college or university: (1) with a principal office in Indiana that is not owned or controlled by the state of Indiana or any political subdivision, agency, instrumentality, district, or municipality of the state of Indiana; and (2) that does not discriminate in the admission of students on the basis of race, color, or creed. (b) "Nonprofit college or university" for purposes of IC 21-17-1-14 , IC 21-17-1-17 , and IC 21-17-6 , has the meaning set forth in IC 21-17-1-10 .
