Purpose

Sec. 2. The purpose of the animal disease diagnostic laboratory is to: (1) aid Indiana residents in the diagnosis of diseases of domestic animals by developing and applying accepted laboratory techniques and methods of diagnosis with a primary emphasis on cases submitted after a field diagnosis of a clinically apparent disease; and (2) add to the wealth of Indiana by aiding the Indiana state board of animal health in the prevention, control, and eradication of diseases of domestic animals.
