Sec. 4. (a) Model guidance and informational resources that incorporate secondary work based learning and postsecondary enrollment opportunities under this chapter must include the following: (1) At least one (1) model of a codevelopment process that describes roles and responsibilities of secondary, postsecondary, and employer stakeholders. (2) A model of a faculty led process to align postsecondary learning outcomes and secondary career and technical education standards. (3) A model of a codevelopment process for the development of secondary student learning assessments that enables eligibility for postsecondary credit. (4) Procedures to document and formalize the secondary, postsecondary, and employer partnership agreement. (5) Recommended timelines for codevelopment, implementation, and course content update. (6) Applicable legal or regulatory requirements, including a requirement that postsecondary educational institutions ensure that a student's completion of a work based learning course is indicated on the student's transcript. (7) Applicable accreditation guidelines of state educational institutions. (8) Other informational or best practice resources related to development and implementation of postsecondary enrollment opportunities through work based learning experiences. (b) Not later than January 1, 2022, the governor shall direct the commission for higher education and the department to publish model guidance and information resources prepared under subsection (a) on its respective website.
