Sec. 2. The board of trustees of a state educational institution may accept gifts, bequests, and devises of personal and real property: (1) for the maintenance, use, or benefit of the state educational institution; or (2) to be administered for other public, charitable purposes for the benefit or use of students of any state educational institution.
