Sec. 6. (a) The Ball State University alumni council shall designate the term and nominate a person for each of the two (2) alumni memberships on the board of trustees. (b) The Ball State University alumni council, through the president of Ball State University, shall submit the names of the nominees to the governor for the governor's immediate appointment to the board of trustees.
