Sec. 10. (a) A postsecondary credit bearing proprietary educational institution shall maintain at least the following records for each student: (1) The program in which the student enrolls. (2) The length of the program. (3) The date of the student's initial enrollment in the program. (4) A transcript of the student's academic progress. (5) The amount of the student's tuition and fees. (6) A copy of the enrollment agreement. (b) Upon the request of the board for proprietary education, a postsecondary credit bearing proprietary educational institution shall submit the records described in subsection (a) to the board for proprietary education. (c) If a postsecondary credit bearing proprietary educational institution ceases operation, the postsecondary credit bearing proprietary educational institution shall submit the records described in subsection (a) to the Indiana archives and records administration not later than thirty (30) days after the institution ceases to operate, regardless of any outstanding debts owed to the institution.
