Intermediary capacity building grant; eligibility requirements; report; rules

Sec. 3. (a) As used in this section, "approved intermediary" means an intermediary that has been approved and included on the list under section 1 of this chapter.       (b) The commission may award an intermediary capacity building grant to an approved intermediary for the purpose of increasing the capacity of an approved intermediary to serve a greater number of individuals. The commission shall establish eligibility requirements for an approved intermediary to receive a grant.       (c) To receive a grant, an approved intermediary must apply to the commission in the manner prescribed by the commission. The commission may award a one (1) time grant of not more than two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to each approved intermediary that meets the requirements under this section.       (d) Not later than July 1, 2024, and not later than July 1, 2025, the commission shall submit a report to the governor and, in an electronic format under IC 5-14-6 , to the general assembly that provides information regarding the grants awarded to approved intermediaries under this section.       (e) The commission may establish rules under IC 4-22-2 to implement this section.       (f) This section expires July 1, 2027.   IC 21-18-20 Chapter 20.
