Indiana Code § 21-14-13-4

Resident tuition for persons who serve or served on the USS Indiana (SSN-789)

Sec. 4. Notwithstanding any other statute, a person who meets the following is eligible for the resident tuition rate determined by the state educational institution under this chapter for a period not to exceed four (4) years from the date the person initially enrolls in the state educational institution for qualified courses taken by the person while attending the state educational institution: (1) The person is a nonresident of Indiana. (2) The person serves or served: (A) in the armed forces of the United States; and (B) at least one hundred eighty (180) days on the USS Indiana (SSN-789). (3) If the person is no longer serving in the armed forces of the United States, the person: (A) received an honorable discharge; and (B) enrolls in a state educational institution not later than twelve (12) months after the date of the person's discharge or separation from the armed forces of the United States.
