Indiana Code § 21-12-1-5

"Approved secondary school"

Sec. 5. "Approved secondary school" means: (1) a public high school located in Indiana; and (2) any school, located in or outside Indiana, that in the judgment of the secretary of education provides a course of instruction at the secondary level and maintains standards of instruction substantially equivalent to those of public high schools located in Indiana.
