Indiana Code § 20-34-3-27

Armed intruder drill; sensory component or activity; prohibition

Sec. 27. (a) As used in this section, "sensory components or activities" refers to aspects of an armed intruder drill intended to simulate a real armed intruder scenario that include: (1) simulations of gunfire; (2) simulations of gunshot wounds or other injuries; (3) the use of a prop firearm; (4) the use of a pellet gun; or (5) participation in the drill by law enforcement personnel with drawn firearms.       (b) An armed intruder drill conducted under section 20 of this chapter that includes sensory components or activities may not: (1) require student participation; or (2) take place during regular school hours if a majority of the student body is present on school property.   IC 20-34-4 Chapter 4.
