Sec. 5.5. Not later than July 1, 2024, a teacher preparation program shall include content within the curriculum on the following: (1) Information on criminal gang organizations awareness. (2) Information regarding homeless students, including: (A) the definition of homelessness; (B) signs of homelessness; and (C) steps to take when a homeless student is identified. (3) Information on recognizing the signs and symptoms of seizures and the appropriate steps to be taken to respond to these symptoms.
