Sec. 10. (a) A teacher described in section 6(a) of this chapter retains the teacher's contractual rights in the Indiana state teachers' retirement fund. (b) Contributions and payments into the retirement fund shall be made in the same manner as they are made for a member of the fund who is granted a leave of absence under the law pertaining to that fund.
