Board of school commissioners; corporate name

Sec. 1. (a) The government, management, and control of all common schools and common school libraries in the school city are vested in a board of school commissioners that consists of seven (7) school commissioners.       (b) The corporate name of the school city is "The Board of School Commissioners of the City of ____________" (the blank being filled with the name of the civil city), and by that corporate name the school city shall: (1) contract; (2) be contracted with; (3) sue; and (4) be sued.
