Collective bargaining permitted

Sec. 3. (a) Employees of a charter school may organize and bargain collectively under IC 20-29 .       (b) This subsection applies to a conversion charter school. For any collective bargaining agreement under IC 20-29 entered into after July 1, 2015, a governing body is not bound by its collective bargaining agreement for employees of a conversion charter school. Employees of a conversion charter school may organize and collectively bargain only as a unit separate from other school employees under IC 20-29 .
