Muncie Community School Corporation; DUAB financial support; limits

Sec. 13. (a) Subject to subsection (b), during the period beginning July 1, 2018, and ending June 30, 2020, the distressed unit appeal board may provide financial support to the Muncie Community school corporation in an amount that does not exceed the amount of compensation that would have been provided to an emergency manager of the Muncie Community school corporation if the school corporation had retained the designation of a distressed political subdivision.       (b) The total amount of the financial support provided under this section may not exceed one million dollars ($1,000,000).       (c) Any financial assistance provided under subsection (a) shall be provided directly to the school corporation.   IC 20-23-19 Chapter 19.
