Sec. 2. (a) The Indiana teacher recruitment program is established. The purpose of the program is to provide grants to training and recruitment programs for teachers in critical shortage areas, as determined by the department, based on data contained in the educator supply and demand marketplace maintained on the department's website. (b) The department shall administer the program.
