Appointment of members

Sec. 3. The commission is comprised of the following members: (1) A member of the senate appointed by the president pro tempore of the senate. (2) A member of the senate appointed by the minority leader of the senate. (3) A member of the house of representatives appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives. (4) A member of the house of representatives appointed by the minority leader of the house of representatives. (5) The revisor of statutes of the general assembly or the revisor's designee. (6) A current or former law professor with expertise in commercial law appointed by the chief justice of Indiana. (7) Five (5) members appointed by the governor, not more than three (3) of whom may be from the same political party.
