Sec. 11.1. (a) If, after making payment for health care services provided by a qualified provider, a payor discovers that a bill was submitted in violation of section 11 of this chapter, the payor may utilize the remedies set forth in either: (1) the contract or other arrangement between the payor and qualified provider; or (2) IC 27-8-5.7-10 . (b) If a qualified provider disagrees with a determination made by a payor that a bill was submitted in violation of section 11 of this chapter, the qualified provider may use the dispute resolution process set forth in the contract or other arrangement between the payor and qualified provider.
