Grant proposals for providing instruction in fertility awareness-based family planning methods; report

Sec. 4.6. (a) A local health department, health care provider, or other human services provider may submit a proposal for a grant under this chapter to be used to provide instruction on the use of fertility awareness-based family planning methods.       (b) A proposal for a grant to be used to provide instruction on the use of fertility awareness-based family planning methods is not subject to the requirements of section 3(b) of this chapter.       (c) Not later than July 1 of each year, the state department shall submit a report to the governor, and, in an electronic format under IC 5-14-6 , to the legislative council, that provides information concerning grants awarded for the purpose of providing instruction on the use of fertility awareness-based family planning methods. The report must include at least the following: (1) The amount of each grant awarded for the purpose of providing instruction on the use of fertility awareness-based family planning methods. (2) A description of how the proceeds from each grant were used.
