Sec. 30. (a) A person who: (1) knowingly makes a false statement, misrepresentation, or report to the state department; or (2) knowingly fails to disclose a material fact to avoid liability under this chapter; commits a Class B misdemeanor.       (b) A person who knowingly violates or fails to comply with this chapter commits a Class B misdemeanor.
