Birth certificates presented more than 12 months after birth

Sec. 5. A certificate of birth presented for filing more than twelve (12) months after the birth occurred is a delayed certificate of birth and the record shall be filed only with the state department. [Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 16-1-16-8.]
