Health care provider liability

Sec. 20. A health care provider who in good faith and in accordance with reasonable medical standards: (1) participates in the withholding or withdrawal of CPR from a declarant: (A) by whom an out of hospital DNR declaration and order has been executed under this chapter; or (B) who has revoked an out of hospital DNR declaration and order when the health care provider has no notice of the revocation; or (2) provides CPR to a declarant: (A) when the health care provider has no notice of the out of hospital DNR declaration and order; or (B) after a revocation of an out of hospital DNR declaration and order; is not subject to criminal or civil liability and may not be found to have committed an act of unprofessional conduct.
