Indiana Code § 16-33-4-19

Maintenance of home and grounds; cultivation of connected lands; assistance of children

Sec. 19. (a) The superintendent shall do the following: (1) Cause the grounds of the home to be: (A) kept in proper order; and (B) ornamented with trees, shrubs, and flowers. (2) Provide and maintain conservatories or greenhouses.       (b) The superintendent: (1) may have any suitable land connected with the home cultivated for the use and benefit of the home; and (2) shall have the children in the home assist in the work.
