Application for admission to home; requisites

Sec. 12. (a) An application for admission to the home may be made by a responsible parent, a guardian, a representative of the court, or the department of child services.       (b) If an application is submitted by a person other than a responsible parent or guardian, the superintendent of the home shall cooperate with the department of child services to ensure that an appropriate case study is made upon application and continued throughout the period the child resides at the home.
