Indiana Code § 16-31-8-4

Reimbursement from fund; conditions

Sec. 4. A person is entitled to reimbursement from the fund for emergency medical services provided under section 1(2) of this chapter if the following conditions are met: (1) The person files with the commission a claim not more than one hundred eighty (180) days after the entry of a conviction under IC 9-30-5 of the individual who caused the accident necessitating the emergency medical services. (2) The court, as part of the entry of conviction, has ordered the individual to make restitution for emergency medical services under IC 9-30-5-17 . (3) The commission has received a copy of the order for restitution as required under IC 9-30-5-17 . (4) The fund has been paid the restitution ordered by the court under IC 9-30-5-17 .
