Sec. 2. A city, town, or county may not adopt an ordinance that restricts a person from providing ambulance services in the city, town, township, or county if: (1) the person is authorized to provide ambulance services in any part of another county; and (2) the person has been requested to provide ambulance services: (A) to the county in which the person is authorized to provide ambulance services, and those services will originate in another county; or (B) from the county in which the person is authorized to provide ambulance services, and those services will terminate in another county.
