"State health commissioner"; "commissioner"

Sec. 340. (a) "State health commissioner" or "commissioner", except as otherwise provided, means the state health commissioner of the Indiana department of health.       (b) For purposes of IC 16-21 , IC 16-28 , and IC 16-29 , the term includes a deputy or an assistant state health commissioner appointed by the state health commissioner, or an agent expressly authorized by the state health commissioner.       (c) For purposes of IC 16-42-1 through IC 16-42-4 , the term means the state veterinarian when impounding or disposing of adulterated or misbranded products under IC 15-17-5 and IC 15-18-1 .
