Sec. 290. "Pregnant woman", for purposes of IC 16-26 , means an individual of any age who: (1) has been a resident of Indiana continuously for at least sixty (60) days before her pregnancy; (2) has verified her pregnancy and intends to carry her pregnancy to term or has given birth to a child; and (3) is in need of assistance and temporary residence.
