Indiana Code § 16-18-2-194.5

"Isolation"

Sec. 194.5. "Isolation", for purposes of IC 16-41-9 , means the physical separation, including confinement or restriction, of an individual or a group of individuals from the general public if the individual or group is infected with a serious communicable disease (as described in IC 16-18-2-327.5 and 410 IAC 1-2.3-47), in order to prevent or limit the transmission of the disease to an uninfected individual.
