Sec. 2. (a) Nothing in this article shall be construed to prohibit the board from exercising its statutory powers and duties conferred under IC 15-17-3 . (b) The board may inspect and audit any: (1) commercial dog breeder; (2) commercial dog broker; (3) retail pet store; (4) animal care facility; or (5) animal rescue operation; that the board has reason to believe violates this article, or has reason to believe that a higher frequency of inspections is necessary for a high risk entity.
