Indiana Code § 15-19-3-3

"Race"

Sec. 3. As used in this chapter, "race" means: (1) a speed trial for a horse; or (2) a contest in which horses run, gallop, pace, or trot; that is conducted either in the presence of at least fifty (50) persons or after there has been public notice that it would occur.
