Sec. 14. (a) If a person violates this chapter or a rule adopted under this chapter, the state chemist may: (1) warn, issue a citation to, or impose a civil penalty on the person; or (2) deny, suspend, revoke, or amend the person's license, certificate, registration, permit, or application under this chapter or IC 15-16-2 . (b) The state chemist may adopt by rule, under IC 4-22-2 , a schedule of civil penalties that may be imposed under subsection (a). The state chemist may impose a civil penalty only according to a schedule of civil penalties recommended by the board. (c) A person who knowingly or intentionally violates this chapter commits a Class C misdemeanor. [Pre-2008 Recodification Citation: 15-3-2-13(a).]
