Indiana Code § 15-15-4-2

Persons subject to chapter; certification for specified crop

Sec. 2. (a) A person, a firm, an association, a limited liability company, or a corporation that issues, uses, or circulates a certificate, an advertisement, a tag, a seal, a poster, a letterhead, a marking, a circular, a written or printed representation, or a description of or pertaining to seeds or plant parts intended for propagation or sale or sold or offered for sale on which: (1) the words "Indiana State Certified", "State Certified", "Indiana Certified", "Certified", or similar words or phrases are used or employed; or (2) signs, symbols, maps, diagrams, pictures, words, or phrases are used or employed that expressly or impliedly state or represent that the seeds or plant parts comply with or conform to the standards or requirements for certification recommended or approved by Purdue University; is subject to this chapter.       (b) For purposes of this chapter, an issuance, a use, or a circulation of a certificate or another instrument described in subsection (a) is considered to be certification under this chapter.
