Indiana Code § 15-15-12-15

"Research"

Sec. 15. As used in this chapter, "research" means a study to advance the: (1) marketability; (2) production; (3) product development; (4) quality; or (5) functional or nutritional value; of corn or corn products, including a research activity designed to identify and analyze barriers to domestic and foreign sales of corn or corn products.
