Appointment of director

Sec. 6. The governor shall appoint the director of the division in accordance with a recommendation of the director. The division director: (1) is in charge of the division and has general supervision of the work of the division; (2) serves at the pleasure of the governor; (3) shall be selected on the basis of training and experience; and (4) must have had at least five (5) years experience in a supervisory capacity in a law enforcement agency closely associated with conservation to equip the division director for the position.
