Indiana Code § 14-8-2-307

"Water of the state"

Sec. 307. "Water of the state", for purposes of IC 14-22 , means a lake, reservoir, marsh, waterway, or other water: (1) under public: (A) ownership; (B) jurisdiction; or (C) lease; or (2) that has been used by the public with the acquiescence of any or all riparian owners.
