Sec. 12. (a) Upon the filing of each report of the board of appraisers with the court, the court shall set a date for hearing on the report. (b) The court shall order notice of the hearing on the report of the board of appraisers as follows: (1) By at least one (1) publication in one (1) newspaper of general circulation in each county having land in the district at least thirty (30) days before the date of the hearing on the report. (2) To each freeholder owning land named in the report and to each person who is named in the report by mail at least twenty (20) days before the date of the hearing, first class postage prepaid, according to the records of the county auditor. (3) By mail to the office of the district at least twenty (20) days before the date of the hearing, first class postage prepaid. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 13-3-3-62(a), (b).]
