Special benefits tax rate

Sec. 3. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), in all districts described in IC 14-33-9-4 , the special benefits tax rate may not exceed six and sixty-seven hundredths cents ($0.0667) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of assessed valuation of property in the taxing district.       (b) This subsection applies to a district established after December 31, 2024. The special benefits tax rate may not exceed five cents ($0.05) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of assessed valuation of property in the taxing district.
